Het Anker: Dutch craftsmanship with international flair

Het Anker is the leading Dutch manufacturer of sofas and chairs. We produce a wide range which is successfully sold in our home market and abroad. The company started back in 1928 as a small upholstery company and has steadily grown into a leading furniture manufacturer with international standing and sales to more than 30 countries.

In-house design.

The major part of our collections is designed by our in-house design team. On a regular base, we work together with well-known (inter-)national designers. We monitor and follow the worldwide trends, yet one thing remains key for our entire collection: the typical “Anker” signature.

One of our specialties is the processing of leather. We offer a wide range of different leather qualities, sourced from renowned Italian tanneries. Our use of sturdy, hand-brushed leathers is part of our recognizable style and has become an important element of our “signature”.

Besides leather, we offer a nice collection of fabrics. These fabrics are sourced from well-known factories and wholesalers in the Netherlands and from abroad. Natural or pastel colors? Hip or chic? Trendy or classic? You name it.

Our collection

We offer a large variety of different styles. From design-oriented and contemporary to classic, and from chic to industrial. In our collection you can find sofas, corner sofas, dining chairs and –benches and armchairs.

A nice overview of our collection can be found in our 5000M2 showroom (or “inspiration center”) in Druten, the Netherlands. Our lifestyle center is open for visitors on working days (by appointment preferably)
